Suzi Landolphi

Suzi founded Big Heart Ranch in 2007 with the intention of helping people heal through the power of animal support. Little did she know that she would create a forever sanctuary for hundreds of farm animals and help heal thousands of people. Suzi’s own healing journey began with participation in a wild horse gentling program, which she now offers with great honor for combat veterans.  Suzi is a Senior PATH Guide, equine therapist and licensed MFT in Virginia and California, and designed Big Heart Ranch’s signature Horse Inspired Growth and Healing (HIGH) and Horse Inspired Psychotherapy (HIP) programs. Her equine therapy model is now being taught to therapists and veterans. Suzi serves as the Clinical Director of ALO House Malibu, where BHR ranch has found a loving and supportive home.

Nora Cohen

Executive director & Lead facilitator

Nora has been facilitating purposeful, intention-based Horse and Animal Inspired Growth and Healing (HIGH) activities at Big Heart Ranch for the past 9 years. She previously worked as an advertising executive in Manhattan before following her heart towards a life in nature, serving those in need. She whole-heartedly believes that the HIGH Program provides individuals the opportunity to connect back to their own light, wisdom and capacity to create joy and balance in their personal lives. Nora’s mission is to help support Big Heart Ranch’s highest purpose through service to the animals, the environment, and each and every human who visits the Ranch.

Corey Cardenas

High facilitator

Corey has been horse crazy for as long as she can remember, regularly riding and being with horses since she was three. Corey’s deep connection to horses has taught her the subtle art of body language and reading energy among many other things. With a genuine love of people, trust in the Divine, and a sense of humor, Corey has been offering this work since 2011. She is a HIGH and EAGALA certified equine specialist and has two healing horses Koa and Gracie.
